DECRETO DA FESTA DA RESSURREIÇÃO.

Tome-se o ano da lua e o do sol no ano 7148[?]. Por exemplo, no presente ano desde Adão 7135, o ano lunar é o décimo quinto, e o solar o primeiro. E no cânon à direita, na primeira coluna, em correspondência ao 15º ano da lua, observa-se o mês romano, que no ano corrente é o dia 14 do primeiro mês hebraico, a saber, de Nisan. Soma a essa data as epactas do ano solar corrente, isto é, do primeiro, que são sete, conforme estão escritas abaixo do primeiro ano solar, na primeira zona da roda. Somam-se 22 dias. Subtraem-se 7. O restante é, pois, o domingo e primeiro [dia] da semana. E por causa da coincidência do 14º brilho [lua cheia] com o domingo, nós, segundo o costume, celebrando com pães ázimos de pureza, sendo dignos de cumprir a Páscoa segundo Cristo nosso Deus, a adiamos para o santo domingo seguinte, para a solene celebração da ressurreição.

DECREE OF THE FEAST OF THE RESURRECTION.

Take the year of the moon and that of the sun in year 7148[?]. For example, in the present year from Adam 7135, the year of the moon is the fifteenth, and that of the sun the first. And in the right-hand canon, in the first column, opposite the 15th year of the moon, observe the Roman month, which in the current year is the 14th of the first Hebrew month, namely of Nisan. Add to this date the epacts of the current solar year, that is, of the first, which are seven in number, as written below the first solar year in the first zone of the wheel. The sum is 22 days. Seven are to be cast out. The remainder therefore is the Lord's day and the first of the week. Καὶ διὰ τὴν συνάπτωσιν τοῦ ιδ Φέγγους, καὶ τῆς κυριακῆς, ἡμεῖς δὲ κατ' ἔθος ἐν ἀζύμοις εἰλικρινείας, τὸ κατὰ Χριστὸν τὸν Θεὸν ἡμῶν ἠξιωμένοι Πάσχα τελεῖν, εἰς τὴν ἁγίαν ὑπερτιθέμην κυριακὴν τὴν ἑορτάσιμον τῆς ἀναστάσεως τελετήν.
