SOBRE O INÍCIO DE NERVA.
Domiciano foi morto no dia 14 das Calendas de Outubro, no ano 45 de idade e 15 do Império. Autor: Suetônio. Iniciou, porém, o império nos Idos de Setembro. Portanto, Domiciano reinou 14 anos completos e 4 dias, de modo que pereceu no quinto dia do início do ano 15 de seu império. ON THE BEGINNING OF NERVA.
Domitian was killed on the 14th day before the Kalends of October, in the 45th year of his age and the 15th of his reign. Authority: Suetonius. He began his reign, however, on the Ides of September. Therefore Domitian reigned 14 full years and 4 days, so that he perished on the fifth day of the beginning of the 15th year of his reign. Add 5 to the years of Domitian's reign for the method of the Moon in the month of September. Thus Domitian perished in the first year of the cycle.
